That’s what I never understand about the purge movies, if all laws were suspended I still don’t want to commit fucking MURDER.
I mean I do but there’s still hella shit I’d do first
the interesting thing about this post if the number of things, not really including the ridiculously petty ones, are illegal. having a garden in your front yard and collecting rain water, two things that can be used to decrease your dependency on other people-namely large corporations and the government- can get you heavily fined or thrown in jail. and the best part is that a lot of these things are illegal for our own safety and comfort. think about that, you can’t collect rain water, you can’t drink raw milk, you can’t grow a garden in your front yard, you need a permit to cut hair, you have to get special permission from the government to help the homeless, you can’t use your own money to add rooms and stuff to your own home. these are fun to laugh at but they are very telling about how extremely controlling our laws have become….
You can’t collect rainwater or grow a garden in the US? In Scotland my parents collect rainwater in a barrel and use it to water their garden. Your government would blow a gasket
